Business delegation to Macedonia
Under the leadership of Attila Galambos, the Chairman of the Committee for Western-Balkan Relations along with a 23 strong business delegation made a visit to Macedonia from May 26-29, 2013.
The Macedonian Chamber of Commerce organized a business forum on March 27, where Péter Szijjártó, the Prime Minister’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations said a welcome speech. He talked about the ensuing potentials from the growth of traffic between the two countries, furthermore the possibilities from the involvement of Hungarian contractors in the 2014 Skopje Infrastructure Development Program, for which Eximbank provides financial backing. In the field of energy cooperation, he highlighted the MVM Magyar Villamos Művek Zrt. and Mepso, a Macedonian energy company’s strategic cooperation, which ensures MVM’s participation in the renovation of Macedonia’s electricity network.
Valon Saraqini, the Macedonian Minister of Economy mentioned the benefit of an, in an European comparison, excessively low 10% corporate tax as well as the opportunities regarding the free trade zone.
According to Dr. József Bencze, the Hungarian Ambassador, the existence of more than 20 sister cities creates an excellent foundation for successful Economic cooperation. Darko Angelov, the Macedonian Ambassador talked about the opportunities in joint operations regarding the third market as well as cooperation in EU projects. Antoni Peshev, the Chairman of the Economic Chamber of Macedonian Assembly stressed the importance of restoring the flight between Budapest and Skopje. Attila Galambos, the Chairman of the Western-Balkan Committee highlighted the activity of the Committee regarding the strengthening SME bond formed between the two countries, furthermore mentioning the Chamber Cooperation Agreement signed in February, 2013, one of its first results is the business program of Skopje. In the business meeting following the forum the representatives of the 20 companies participating led negotiations with Macedonian businessmen. On May 28, the delegation visited Bitola and Ohrid, where local mayors welcomed the participants and gave information regarding local development plans and business opportunities. During the Bitola Program besides the mayor, Vladimir Taleski the Chairman of the Regional Chamber said a speech, while the company Kronberg& Shubert, whom moved into the local industrial zone, introduced themselves.
In Orhid the participants gained information regarding local development opportunities (turism, industry, sewage management). Janakievski Saso, Honorary Consul of Bitola participated in the organizing of the Bitola and Ohrid programs.
Üzleti delegáció Macedóniába
Galambos Attila, a Nyugat-balkáni Tagozat elnökének vezetésével 2013. május 26-29. között 23 fős üzleti delegáció látogatott Macedóniába.
A Macedón Gazdasági Kamara által május 27-én, Skopje-ban szervezett üzleti fórumon köszöntőt mondott Szijjártó Péter, a Miniszterelnökség külügyi és külgazdasági államtitkára. Beszélt a 2 ország közötti forgalom növelésében rejlő lehetőségekről, továbbá a Szkopje 2014 infrastrukturális fejlesztési programban való magyar kivitelezői részvétel lehetőségéről, amelyhez a magyar Eximbank finanszírozási hátteret biztosít. Az energetikai együttműködés területén az MVM Magyar Villamos Művek Zrt. és a Mepso nevű macedón villamos energiai vállalat stratégiai együttműködésének kialakítását emelte ki, amely biztosítja az MVM részvételét a macedón villamosenergia-hálózat felújításában.
Valon Saraqini macedón gazdasági miniszter a macedón befektetési környezet előnyei kapcsán az európai összehasonlításban rendkívül alacsony, 10%-os társasági adót, valamint a szabadkereskedelmi övezetek nyújtotta lehetőségeket említette meg.
Dr. Bencze József, magyar nagykövet elmondta, hogy a két ország közötti több mint 20 testvérvárosi kapcsolat kiváló alapot teremt a sikeres gazdasági együttműködésre is. Darko Angelov, macedón nagykövet a 3. piacokon való közös fellépés lehetőségeiről és az EU-s projektekben való együttműködésről beszélt. Antoni Peshev, a Macedón Gazdasági Kamara Közgyűlésének elnöke a Budapest-Skopje közötti légijárat helyreállításának fontosságát hangsúlyozta. Galambos Attila, a Nyugat-balkáni Tagozat elnöke a Tagozat szerepét emelte ki a két ország KKV-i közötti kapcsolatok erősítésében, megemlítette továbbá a 2013 februárjában aláírt kamarai együttműködési megállapodást, melynek egyik első eredménye a skopjei üzleti program. A fórumot követő üzletember-találkozón a résztvevő 20 cég képviselője macedón üzletemberekkel folytatott tárgyalásokat. Május 28-án a delegáció Bitolába és Ohridba látogatott, ahol a helyi polgármesterek fogadták a résztvevőket és adtak tájékoztatást a helyi fejlesztési tervekről, üzleti lehetőségekről. A bitolai programon Vladimir Taleski polgármesteren kívül beszédet mondott a regionális kamara elnöke, valamint bemutatkozott a helyi ipari zónába betelepült Kronberg & Schubert nevű cég.
Ohridban a résztvevők a helyi fejlesztési lehetőségekről (turizmus, ipar, szennyvíztisztító) kaptak tájékoztatást. A bitolai és az ohridi programok szervezésében közreműködött Janakievski Saso, Bitola tiszteletbeli konzulja.
