EU funds for trade development in the Western Balkans – economic forum
On May 21, 2014, an economic forum and information day “EU funds for tade development in the Western Balkans – economic forum”was organized by Western Balkan Committee (WBC) of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) with 90 participants and 70 firms with the cooperation of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Affairs (MoFA).
Presenters were:
- Mr. Attila Galambos, president of the WBC of HCCI, he opened and called the attention to the importance of Hungary’s knowledge and experience in utilising of pre-accession funds. This knowledge could be an excellent tool for assisting the Western Balkan region;
- Ms. MártaVárkonyi; Mr. György Gilyán and Mr. Károly Scherczer from MoFA, presented the different stages of EU accession of the countries in the region, provided details of IPA funds for the support of economic development.
„Uniós források a nyugat-balkáni üzletfejlesztéshez”- gazdasági fórum
A Magyar Kereskedelmi és Iparkamara Nyugat-balkáni Tagozata és a Külügyminisztérium 2014. május 21-én információs napot szervezett Budapesten „Uniós források a nyugat-balkáni üzletfejlesztéshez” címmel.
A rendezvényt Galambos Attila, a Magyar Kereskedelmi és Iparkamara Nyugat-balkáni Tagozatának elnöke nyitotta meg, aki beszédében felhívta a figyelmet az uniós elő- és csatlakozás utáni források során szerzett vállalati szintű tapasztalatok a térség országaiban történő hasznosíthatóságára.
A Külügyminisztérium előadói – Várkonyi Márta, szakmai főtanácsadó, Gilyán György nagykövet és gazdasági koordinátor valamint Scherczer Károly Róbert IPA koordinátor – ismertették a nyugat-balkáni országok jelenlegi gazdasági és EU-s integrációs kilátásait, valamint olyan ajánlásokat adtak, melyek segítségével az IPA-alapokból már akár rövidtávon is konkrét üzleti lehetőségekhez juthat a hazai vállalati szektor.
A konferencián több mint 70 cég mintegy 90 fővel képviseltetette magát.
