Hungarian – Macedonian Business Forum and Meeting of Entrepreneurs in Budapest

The Hungarian – Macedonian Business Forum and Meeting of Entrepreneurs in Budapest on the 16th of December, 2015 was organized by the Committee for Western-Balkan Relations of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) in cooperation with the MNKH Hungarian National Trading House Cls. and the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce. The program was organized in connection with the Hungarian - Macedonian Joint Economic Committee Meeting with 88 participants.

Dr. Petra Pana, Deputy State Secretary for Foreign Trade of theMinistry of Foreign Affairs and Tradeemphasizedthat there are yet untapped reserves in Hungarian- Macedonian bilateral trade relations and that there is a given legal framework for the economic cooperation between the entrepreneurs of the two countries. She explained that following the agreement on theavoidance of double taxation and protection of investments, in 2011 the representatives of the two countries signed the agreement on economic cooperation and based on this the Hungarian – Macedonian Joint Economic Committee was formed. She added that the economic environment in Macedonia is improving, furthermore that the state has introduced reduced rate of taxation. She encouraged Hungarian companies to live with the opportunity of cooperation between companies and to be present as investors in Macedonian privatization.

About the course of bilateral trade she statedthat it was an amount of247,1 million in 2014, which was a 22, 3 % expansion in the course of trade compared to the same period of the previous year.

Macedonia is the 22nd destination country of Hungary’s capital investment. Meanwhile, according to Macedonian figures, Hungary had been the 5th biggest foreign investor in the country in 2014.

Dr. Petra Pana mentioned that the MNKH Hungarian National Trading House Cls., Eximbank and Mehib are ready to help Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in taking their export-certified products and services to the foreign market.

Aneta Dimocska, Secretary of the Macedonian Ministry of Economy emphasized that her state regards Hungary as a strategic partner and supports the cooperation between the two countries. The Macedonian State Secretary of Economy drew the attention of entrepreneurs to the growing economy and that reforms had been made and the Macedonian investment environment has been positively evaluated in international reports as well.

Mária Stark Tényiné, international managing director of MNKH Hungarian National Trading House Cls. emphasized the importance of cooperation between the chambers, which doesn’t only appear between countries but also on a regional level. In her speech she highlighted the Macedonian programs that have been organized by the Committee for Western-Balkan Relations ofthe Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), for example the visit to Skopje in 2013 and the meetings organized in connection with the Macedonian Prime Minister, Nikola Gruevski’s visit to Budapest on the 20th November, 2015.

Gábor Fényes, the director responsible for export development at MNKH Hungarian National Trading House Cls. said that the Skopje Trading House is continuously seeking possibilities of cooperation and believes that the infrastructure development of the Macedonian government provides Hungarian companies opportunities of participation. He indicated: Hungarian Eximbank has begun negotiations with its Macedonian partner about the opening of EUR 5-10 million line of credit in order to improve the competitiveness of Hungarian companies.

In her opening speech, Snezana Kamilovska-Trpovska, the international director of the Macedonian Economic Chamber emphasized the importance of the international trade agreement that had been signed by Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary and China in 2014 and also mentioned the cooperation agreement signed by her Chamber and HCCI in 2013.

Arkan Kerim,Vice President of the Association of Chambers of Commerce of Macedoniasaid thatthe Association is still developing but on an institutional level it is a significant organization. He highlighted agriculture, the building industry, tourism, trade and the common project from all the possible areas of cooperation.

Following the Forum, a meeting of entrepreneurs was held, within the framework of which 13 Macedonian companies had negotiations with the representatives of 25 Hungarian companies.

A cooperation agreement was signed ceremonially by Dr. László Parragh president of HCCI and Arkan Kerim, Vice President of the Association of Chambers of Commerce of Macedonia at the Hungarian – Macedonian Joint Economic Committee plenary session.

Jenő Radetzky, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Fejér County and Dr. András Sziráki, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County signed a cooperation agreement with several Macedonian regional chambers (Bitola, Stip, Kavadarci).

 

 

Magyar-macedón üzleti fórum és üzletember-találkozó Budapesten

 

A Magyar Kereskedelmi és Iparkamara (MKIK) Nyugat-balkáni Tagozata Magyar-macedón gazdasági fórumot és üzletember-találkozót szervezett 2015. december 16-án, Budapesten, a Magyar Nemzeti Kereskedőház Zrt. és a Macedón Gazdasági Kamara együttműködésével. A program a Magyar - Macedón Gazdasági Vegyes Bizottság üléséhez kapcsolódóan került megszervezésre 88 fő részvételével.

 

Dr. Pana Petra, a Külgazdasági és Külügyminisztérium külgazdasági ügyekért felelős helyettes államtitkára köszöntőjében hangsúlyozta, hogy a magyar-macedón kétoldalú gazdasági kapcsolatokban vannak még tartalékok, és hogy a két ország vállalkozóinak gazdasági együttműködéséhez adottak a jogi keretek. Ismertette, hogy a beruházás-védelmi, illetve a kettős adózás elkerüléséről szóló megállapodást követően 2011-ben a két ország képviselői aláírták a gazdasági együttműködési megállapodást, ez alapján létrejött a Magyar - Macedón Gazdasági Vegyes Bizottság. Hozzátette, hogy Macedóniában javul a gazdasági környezet valamint hogy a kormány kedvezményes adókulcsot vezetett be. Arra biztatta a magyar cégeket, hogy éljenek a vállalatok közötti együttműködés lehetőségeivel és befektetőként is jelenjenek meg a macedón privatizációban. A kétoldalú kereskedelmi forgalomról elmondta, hogy 2014-ben 247,1 millió eurót tett ki, ez 22,3 százalékos bővülés a megelőző évhez képest. Az idén az első kilenc hónapban 17,3 százalékos bővülés volt a kereskedelmi forgalomban az előző év azonos időszakához képest. Magyarország tőkekihelyezésében a 22. célország Macedónia, eközben macedón adatok alapján Magyarország 2014-ben az 5. legnagyobb tőkebefektető volt az országban. Dr. Pana Petra kitért arra, hogy a Magyar Nemzeti Kereskedőház Zrt., az Eximbank, illetve az Mehib kész segíteni a magyar kis- és középvállalkozásokat abban, hogy exportképes termékeiket, szolgáltatásaikat külpiacra vigyék.

Aneta Dimovska, a Macedón Gazdasági Minisztérium államtitkára hangsúlyozta, hogy kormánya stratégiai partnernek tekinti Magyarországot, és támogatja a két ország közötti együttműködést. A macedón gazdasági államtitkár arra hívta fel az üzletemberek figyelmét, hogy gazdaságuk növekszik, reformokat vezetettek be, a macedón befektetési környezetet nemzetközi jelentések is pozitívan ítélik meg.

Tényiné Stark Mária, a Magyar Kereskedelmi és Iparkamara (MKIK) nemzetközi igazgatója a kamarák közötti együttműködés fontosságát hangsúlyozta, amely a nemcsak az országok között, hanem regionális szinten is megjelenik. Beszédében kiemelte az MKIK Nyugat-balkáni Tagozata által szervezett macedón vonatkozású programokat, többek között a 2013. évi szkopjei kiutazást valamint a macedón miniszterelnök, Nikola Gruevski 2015. november 20-i budapesti látogatásához kapcsolódóan megszervezett találkozókat.

Fényes Gábor, a Magyar Nemzeti Kereskedőház Zrt. exportfejlesztési igazgatója elmondta, a szkopjei kereskedőház folyamatosan keresi az együttműködési lehetőségét, és úgy vélte, hogy a macedón kormány infrastruktúra-fejlesztései lehetőséget adnak a magyar vállalatoknak is a részvételre. Jelezte: a magyar Eximbank tárgyalásokat kezdett macedón partnerével 5-10 millió euró hitelkeret nyitásáról a magyar cégek versenyképességének javítása érdekében.

Snezana Kamilovska-Trpovska, a Macedón Gazdasági Kamara nemzetközi igazgatója köszöntőjében hangsúlyozta a Macedónia, Szerbia, Magyarország és Kína által 2014-ben aláírt nemzetközi kereskedelmi megállapodás fontosságát és említést tett a kamarájuk és az MKIK által 2013-ban aláírt együttműködési megállapodásról is.  

Arkan Kerim, a Macedón Kamarák Szövetségének alelnöke elmondta, hogy a szövetség egy fejlődő, de intézményes szinten jelentős szervezet. A lehetséges együttműködési területek között a mezőgazdaságot, az építőipart, a turizmust, a kereskedelmet és a közös projekteket emelte ki.

A fórumot követően üzletember-találkozóra került sor, melynek keretében 13 macedón cég folytatott tárgyalásokat 25 magyar cég képviselőjével.

2015. december 17-én ünnepélyes keretek között együttműködési megállapodást írt alá Dr. Parragh László, MKIK elnök és Arkan Kerim, a Macedón Kamarák Szövetségének alelnöke a Magyar - Macedón GVB plenáris ülésén. Együttműködési megállapodást írt alá több macedón regionális kamarával (Bitola, Stip, Kavadarci) Radetzky Jenő, a Fejér Megyei Kereskedelmi és Iparkamara elnöke valamint Dr. Sziráki András, a Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok Megyei Kereskedelmi és Iparkamara elnöke.
